April 2025 was basically Minecraft month, amiright? Not only was the aptly named A Minecraft Movie released (April 4), but so did one of London’s highly anticipated immersive experiences: Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue. Following the announcement of its arrival in the capital in early February, thousands of Londoners joined the waitlist to be in with a chance of getting pre-sale tickets to the IRL event that brings all the mobs, biomes, and gems out of the game and into the real world. Now, after almost a month in Canada Water’s newest exhibition venue, Corner Corner, they have decided to keep the good times going a little longer and will be extending their London dates to September 28 due to popular demand.
After making its debut over the Atlantic in Dallas, the world’s first touring immersive Minecraft experience puts fans and families in London to the test in their quest to save the villagers. Are you up to the challenge?
🚨Exclusive alert 🚨 Every visitor to Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue can claim a limited-edition half-zombie, half-villager cape, redeemable in the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition game. Customise your character with the cape to serve as a special in-game memento of your participation in the real-world experience.

What can you expect at Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue in London?
The ultimate aim of the game at Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is to save Minecraft villagers who have been turned into zombies; it’s your job to collect the resources for the potion to save them. The experience will see you showcase those Minecrafting skills honed in the video game in real life, like chopping down trees, collecting resources, and fighting mobs – but not as you might expect. The state-of-the-art technology – referred to as your Orb of Interaction – melds your IRL actions with the Minecraft world projected on the floors and walls in the venue, and it’s totally intuitive: so if you make a chopping movement with your arms, down come the trees.
The projections span seven vibrant rooms where you can gather resources in your quest to save the village, encountering cave spiders, creepers, and skeletons along the way. You’ll move through the biomes – or Minecraft worlds – and even need to build your escape route out of the portal! The experience is essentially an interactive scavenger hunt that is sure to delight all ages, whether you’re new to the world of Minecraft or a keen fan.

This family-friendly experience in London spans 45 minutes in total, and will conclude at the Trading post, where visitors can buy merch as a memento of their adventure, and hang out with their fellow adventurers. It’ll be the first time this experience has come to the UK, so be sure to secure your tickets.
