Milk Train produce ice creams that look almost too good to eat…
Covent Garden is home to one of the most incredible ice cream parlours in London: Milk Train. They specialise in deluxe soft-serve ice cream and milkshakes, and offer some of the most unique flavour combinations out there. Their flavours are inspired by different parts of the world and you’ll find everything from Victoria Sponge Cake and Matcha Green Tea, to Mango Sticky Rice (which is 100% plant-based). But whilst they taste amazing, it’s the aesthetics that reel in the visitors…

Yep, this place is home to the UK’s first ever candy floss ice cream cone, so if you’re feeling adventurous, your ice cream can sit on a cloud of candy! Fortunately, their desserts are a wonderful treat anytime of the year and they are all so wonderfully Instagrammable that you won’t even have to try to get that perfect shot. In fact, their seasonal menus make good use of candyfloss, whether during the springtime cherry blossom season…
…or mirroring the red leaves of autumn!
Milk Train is about more than just fluffy clouds of deliciousness, however. You can also customise your own dessert here, so if you fancy putting your thinking cap on and coming up with a brand new flavour combination, the floor is yours! But the fun doesn’t stop there, as you’ll also have a myriad of exciting toppings to choose from such as Oreos, pretzels, popcorn, sugar, spice and everything nice.
Milk Train periodically revamp their store to perfectly match the autumnal season; at present, there’s a distinct tropical vibe in their Covent Garden store. That extends to the menu, which boasts a heatwave-busting piña colada float that we’re very much keen to try.
The menu changes on a fairly regular basis, and we’d highly recommend making frequent pilgrimages so as to try the entire lineup of flavours. All aboard the Milk Train!
