Time to unleash your inner dancing queen at this Mamma Mia themed bottomless brunch.
When ABBA released “Thank You For The Music” in 1977, it’s unlikely even they could predict it would be temporarily taken away (in part, anyway) 43 years on, in 2020. Now, we’re all on the brink of being able to have a boogie with a group of mates again, and there’s no better act to get down to than ABBA. It’s the bottomless brunch you’ve been dreaming of ever since you first sang along to the iconic Mamma Mia! move word-for-word.
Coming to Covent Garden’s vastly popular Blame Gloria cocktail bar is a lively affair with a host of Mamma Mia themed games, sound tracked by the very best of ABBA. As they famously sang, there is nothing we can’t do… and that’s exactly how you’ll feel as you arrive at the beautifully decorated venue, ready to let off that post-lockdown steam by screaming ABBA over brunch.
Guests will have the option of a brunch dish plus either one (£45) or two (£55) hours of boozy bottomless beer and prosecco. There’s four delicious burgers to choose from–the Clucky Cheese (GF); the Cluck You (GF); the Pig Mac; and the Moving Mountains (VG)– which are sure to have you drooling and provide you with the fuel to belt out the ABBA anthems.
If all that wasn’t enough, you’ll be entertained and serenaded all afternoon by your stunning drag host, Vileda Moppe of West End fame. On top of the other fun and games, you’ll be pitted against each other in an ultimate sing off where, of course, the winner takes it all. But fear not, the loser will not have to fall as the song goes. They’ll have spent the entire day winning at this brilliantly entertaining event.
Starting from May 22, you’ll have the chance to attend every Saturday and Sunday until September 26. Who knows? Maybe you’ll love it so much you’ll say “here I go again” and come back for round two! Just make sure your mother knows that you’re out, eh?
