At the beginning of summer, we were getting ready to bid farewell to The Magic Roundabout – but it’s allowed to stay for a little while longer!
The demolition of Old Street roundabout has been delayed slightly, so the pop-up has been given the go-ahead to stay open until the end of the year. Hurrah! In true Magic Roundabout fashion, it’ll be back with a new theme – this time transforming into a Latin American town, complete with a town square, a chapel and a bodega.
Officially the last chance to party at the legendary east London pop-up before its demolition, The Magic Roundabout will open as Fiesta Del Magia from October 12th until January 1st, 2019. The dance floor will turn into the town square, where the dancing never stops, and there’ll be a gorgeous, hidden chapel if you want to confess your sins, or just fancy a drink beside the beautiful stained glass windows. Frida’s Bar will be dishing out the cocktails, while its decor will be inspired by Frida Kahlo’s iconic home in Mexico. Forget about the cooler weather on its way, The Magic Roundabout is taking us all to Latin America for a smokin’ hot fiesta!
