When it comes to thinking about the most expansive, large-scale club nights and events in the capital, many minds will go towards the likes of Drumsheds and the (sadly now closed) Printworks.
So when the team behind announce their next project, our ears are naturally going to prick up at the hope of another new spot to dance. This one is called ‘Magazine Open—Air’, and it’s set to land at Greenwich Peninsula in the summer to provide festival-scale events in the warm season.

Magazine Open—Air
Broadwick Live announced the new space earlier today (March 10), along with the first set of artists due to play at the venue’s series of upcoming events. They’ll get going from mid-August, so you’ve got time to pick out your favourite in the listings, with more artists in the pipeline to be announced.
You can look forward to six dates at this venue at a space that’s never been used before, each with a view across the Thames and into the London skyline.
Below is the details of all the events announced for Magazine Open—Air so far:
- Friday, August 14 (3pm – 10pm): Our House w/ Meduza & James Hype
- Saturday, August 15 (2:30pm – 10pm): Josh Baker B2B Max Dean
- Sunday, August 16 (2:30pm – 10pm): 15 Years: The Soulection Experience
- Friday, August 21 (3pm – 10pm): Amelie Lens B2B Sara Landry

Speaking on the news of Magazine Open—Air, Luke Huxham, Managing Director of Broadwick Live, said: “We’ve been excited about the potential of this project for some time. Built on a foundation of unique programming, ambitious production, and obsessive attention to detail, Open—Air sits on the bank of the River Thames at Greenwich Peninsula, bringing people closer to London’s iconic skyline than ever before.
“Today, people want layered experiences with high production value and thoughtful curation. Open—Air is our answer to that. The stage and site have been designed to show London from a completely new perspective, delivering something truly unique for both our guests and artists.”
