Machine Head have been playing shows in London for over 30 years, and it’s been announced that the band will be back for another huge one in the middle of next year. They’ll be performing their ‘An Evening With Machine Head’ format at four UK shows in May, which come as part of a wider run of gigs across Europe for the metal band.
They will play ‘An Evening With…’ at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Sunday, May 17, 2026, with the gig featuring no support acts and an extended three-hour set from the band to play a career-spanning set that may include some deeper cuts.

This show marks their first London show since 2022, when they played Wembley Arena on the ‘Vikings and Lionhearts’ tour, with their last UK appearance coming last summer when they headlined Bloodstock Open Air festival. Their latest record, Unatoned, come out earlier this year, and marked the band’s 11th studio album.
Machine Head first played their ‘An Evening With…’ format in the UK in 2016 on a tour that featured a huge set at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
