London’s favourite Scottish restaurant, Mac & Wild, has just launched a virtual shooting range and whisky bar.
Hidden away below their Devonshire Square restaurant, this whisky-fuelled experience will whisk you straight to the Scottish Highlands. The Shooting Range is kitted out with two virtual lanes, each equipped with two guns, and groups can dress in tweeds and hats whilst shooting at various targets, including everything from clays and rabbits, to deers and bears.
The whisky bar features some seriously unique serves, all trying to make whisky appear more accessible and fun. Expect to see over 200 varieties of whisky, whisky slushies, lots of whisky highballs and – here’s the best part – a Whisky Happy Hour every day between 5–7pm. The bar also serves up some of Mac & Wild’s food favourites, including their legendary Venison Scotch Eggs, Haggis Pops, Mac & Cheese and their award-winning Veni-Moo Burger.
This new space will also host a range of exciting events, starting with their new, experiential ‘Drams in the Dark’ series, which takes guests on a multi-sensory journey of whisky discovery. Taking place every Friday and Saturday, there’ll be candlelit welcome drinks before you’re plunged into total darkness. You’ll get to try up to five drams, each with pairing canapés – and you’ll witness how the darkness really heightens the flavour of the whisky. Find out more and get your tickets here.
Alternatively, if you just fancy popping along for dinner, we’ve got a delicious deal for you. For just £28, you could get a three course meal, plus a cocktail or a glass of prosecco. Find out what’s on the menu and secure the offer here.
