Every once in a while, it’s nice to escape the mundane and strut headfirst into a world of glitz, glamour and fabulous footwear, and we’ve got just the thing for you. Oozing with opulence, L’Oscar is a gorgeous boutique hotel in a prime London location, just a hop, skip and jump away from the West End.
As if all that wasn’t enough, this decadent hotel has teamed up with the theatre folk over at Kinky Boots the Musical to bring you their “Walk This Way” experience, which will bring you as much joy as strutting down the street in a pair of your favourite heels.
This experience will appeal to theatre lovers and fashion-enthusiasts alike, as both the hotel and the musical are big, bold and beautiful.
The Kinky Boots experience

So what exactly is on offer for the “Walk This Way Experience“? While a regular night spent at L’Oscar would be more than enough to knock your socks off, this bespoke experience takes it to another level entirely. Once you’ve sipped your welcome drink and checked into one of the hotel’s decadent suites, you can make your way down to the restaurant, where you’ll be served a pre-theatre dinner, complete with a Kinky Boots-themed dessert.
Once you’re done, you can strut down the bustling West End and take your seats at the iconic London Coliseum to watch Kinky Boots the Musical. The show is a feel-good fest, and you’ll struggle to leave the theatre without a smile on your face. Strictly Come Dancing star Johannes Radabe and X Factor winner Matt Cardle take the lead roles of Lola and Charlie, respectively, so you’re in for a treat for the eyes and ears.
The night keeps on theme as you’ll have a few Kinky Boots-inspired treats waiting back in your suite once you make your way back from the theatre.
The whole experience is full of thoughtful details, and while it’s ideal for those visiting London, I’d highly recommend it to any locals to elevate their theatre-going.
L’oscar London

The hotel itself is a Grade II listed building, which was a former church, built between 1901-1903. Named after the famous writer Oscar Wilde, the theatrical decor includes high ornate ceilings, huge windows and velvet-draped walls.
L’oscar opened its doors as a hotel back in 2018, offering 39 stunning rooms, a restaurant serving delicious seasonal British produce, and three event spaces.
