Loreen has just gone ahead and announced the Wildfire tour, which will hit venues across Europe later this year, including a huge night at London’s Brixton Academy on Saturday, September 26.
It will follow the Swedish singer’s new album, Wildfire, dropping next month, and will also see her play shows in Dublin, Glasgow, and Manchester before the London gig, which comes ahead of gigs in mainland Europe.
Wildfire is out on March 27, and is her third studio album – her first since 2017’s Ride. All of Loreen’s records have come after her breakthrough moment, winning the Eurovision song contest in 2012 with the song, Euphoria. The upcoming shows will be a chance for fans to hear new material for the first time, likely including the album’s first single, Feels Like Heaven, which was co-written by Sia.
Loreen’s upcoming London shows follow a show at Hammersmith Apollo last year, as well as a slot at the Mighty Hoopla festival and a performance at Brighton Pride in the summer.
Speaking on the ‘Wildfire’ tour, Loreen said: “We’ve built this tour to bring people into my world, somewhere you can lose yourself for a while. I’m hoping to awaken something inside of you that is real.”
When do tickets to see Loreen go on sale?
Loreen tickets go on general sale next week on Friday, March 6 at 9am GMT. There will also be an artist pre-sale taking place for those who have pre-ordered Wildfire, which starts on Wednesday, March 4 at 9am.
