As the Christmas lights turn on and Christmas markets pop up around the city, there’s more and more to do in London than most other times of the year. But, if you’re heading into town this weekend, there are some travel disruptions you’ll need to be aware of. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Here’s all the tube closures you need to know about:
Bakerloo line
- Sunday 9 November: There is no service between Stonbridge Park and Harrow & Weldstone until 7:45am.
Metropolitan line
- Until Saturday 8 November: There will be no service between Aldgate and Baker Street and minor delays on the rest of the line. Normal service should resume on Sunday.
Northern line
- Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November: Trains will not be stopping at Angel station, due to infrastructure works occuring at the station.
London overground
Lioness line
- Sunday 9 November: There will be no service between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction until 7:45am.
Mildmay line
- Sunday 9 November: There will be no service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction.
Weaver line
- Sunday 9 November: There will be no service between Liverpool Street and Enfield Town, Cheshunt and Chingford until 10:15am.
- There will be more disruption on the line between Monday 10 to Thursday 13 November with no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt after 10:45pm.
Elizabeth line
- Sunday 9 November: There will be a reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead/ Heathrow Terminal 4.
