The Mad Hatter’s immersive G&T party has finally launched!
We’re all mad here in London – especially when it comes to gin. So the announcement of a fabulously wacky Mad Hatter Gin & Tea Party – currently dazzling the capital – struck a chord, with over 10,000 Londoners signed up for the waiting list. And excitingly, that wait for a very important date is finally over with the Tea Party now in full swing. But there’s still time to grab a place with the Mad Hatter before it sells out!
Wander through an unassuming door in Notting Hill, and you’ll be led straight to Wonderland for an immersive experience that’s already won rave reviews for a recent stop in Los Angeles. (“The drinks were great and I absolutely loved the Cheshire Cat entrance!” said one guest, cryptically, while another called it “an absolute blast!”) You’ll start your experience with a welcome drink at the upstairs cocktail bar, where a range of Boë Gin cocktails merely hint at the madness to come…
From there, you’ll tumble down the rabbit hole into the basement, where the Mad Hatter and his even madder guests welcome you to a tasting experience to delight and bewitch the senses. The incredible, intricately designed set will transport you far away from the streets of west London, into a land of talking Cheshire Cats and party-loving bunnies. Book now via Fever.
Really, it’s a boozy tea party quite unlike any other: a madcap mashup of Alice in Wonderland and the classic British tea party you’ve all been waiting for. Hosted by the Mad Hatter, Dormouse, and The March Hare, you’ll enjoy 90 minutes of tantalising cocktail-tasting, with three mesmerising molecular Boë Gin cocktails awaiting you – each carefully constructed from curious ingredients that’ll befuddle your tastebuds.
If you’re curious as to what’s in store on the drinks menu, here’s what you’ll be sipping on! First up is the Drink Me BOE, made of Boe Violent Gin, Boe Scottish Bramble, and rose lemonade. Next, sip on the Cheshie Cat Gin (BoePassion Fruit Gin, cranberry, Boe Scottish Bramble, lime), before finishing off with the JaBOEwocky, a curious concoction of BoePassion Fruit Gin, lime juice, vanilla syrup, brown sugar, mint leaves, and lime.
Excitingly, your trip to Wonderland gets a festive spin between December 12th-22nd, as the Mad Hatter puts up the Christmas decorations and hosts a Yuletide soiree. You’ll be welcomed with a Mulled Hot Gin Toddy to ward off the winter chill, and the basement will be festooned with crackers and festive hats. And naturally, you’ll receive a suitably wacky Secret Santa gift to remember your time in Wonderland – book your tickets from November 12th to avoid missing out.
A mysterious, magical evening awaits – so don’t be late for this very important date!
