Lina Stores is at it again, extending their reach across the capital to ensure everyone has access to authentic Italian products and food. Following the opening of Lina Stores’ first international location, in Tokyo in 2021, and their recent Marylebone opening in 2022, they’ve now brought their famed pasta dishes and antipasti to south London with a new Clapham location.
London may have no shortage of incredible Italian restaurants, but we’re never disappointed when another one crops up. And when they bring with them a hefty dose of authenticity and charm, as does Lina Stores, then we’re all in.
Inside Lina Stores Clapham
The Lina Stores Clapham location continues with the brand’s iconic décor and visual language. An eye-catching green exterior greets guests, while the inside of the two-floor, 80-cover, restaurant is a blend of vintage Italian pieces, marble tables, plush seating, and distressed painted walls. A 14-seater kitchen counter on the ground floor dominates the dining room, where diners can watch the chefs preparing their meals. Meanwhile, a marble and timber bar downstairs is the perfect place to perch with a drink or two before or after dinner.
Open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday through Sunday, the food at Lina Stores Clapham comprises fan favourites and exciting new offerings. The handmade pasta is at the heart of it all (naturally) with highlights including Linguine con Granchio e Limone, Casarecce alla Calabrese, Ricotta Tre Latte, and much more. Plenty of small plates and sweet bites are also on offer to accent the meal at the start and finish.
The Clapham location is also serving up the new Lina Stores breakfast offering, on Saturdays and Sundays. Expect plenty of strong espresso and freshly squeezed juice alongside sweet and savoury morning treats. Anyone for some Truffle Scrambled Eggs on Toasted Sourdough?
And to round it all off there’s a wine list of organic and biodynamic wines from all corners of Italy, and plenty of classic Italian aperitivi and cocktails.
Head on down for a taste of the Mediterranean, right on the edge of Clapham Common!
