Following years of success hosting ‘girls only’ nights in London, Lick Events is taking the club night on a nationwide tour – providing a safe space for women and transgender people to drink, dance and party the night away.
The event organisers have held events in London already this year, such as their successful day party at Ministry of Sound back in February. Now, they plan to host events across the UK, as well as continuing to put on their famous nights in London.
If you wish to catch Lick’s events outside London, you could try out their upcoming night at the Ritz nightclub in Manchester, for example, on May 7th. The strictly ‘no men allowed’ event will feature DJs Monique B, Janelle Wynter and Miller Black – who’ll be bringing the good vibes from 11pm til 4am. The fun event encourages women to come together for the evening, with Lick even hosting a meet-up group on Instagram where attendees can make friends with others ahead of the party.
Since announcing the upcoming UK dates, the club night has gone viral on Tiktok, where women have praised the club night with comments such as “not being funny but this just screams ✨safe✨” and “Gentlemen, let ladies have their night too! Plus as a man I would feel safe sending my girl there to enjoy herself”.
Others were excited about the ‘bathroom vibes’ at the event – a place where we women frequently make new pals on a night out – while others hailed the idea as a ‘paradise’.
