Big news in the musical theatre world today! Best known for originating the role of Aaron Burr in the Broadway production of Hamilton, Leslie Odom Jr. is coming to London to perform a one-off gig later this year.
The Tony and Grammy award-winning artist will perform at one of London’s most iconic venues, The Palladium, on 31 October.
If somehow you’re unfamiliar with his stage work, you might also recognise him from the film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, comedy series Abbott Elementary or from his best-selling book, released in 2018. The star has also released six albums.
What can we expect from the concert?
It was announced earlier this year that Leslie Odom Jr. would be returning to his role in Hamilton at Victoria Palace Theatre in London from 3 July to 5 September later this year, and it has been one of the hottest tickets in town since the news broke.
This comes hot off the heels of Leslie returning to the role of Aaron Burr on Broadway in September 2025, nine years after his original turn in the role.
This concert is set to bring the artists’ stunning vocals and magnetic storytelling abilities to the big stage. He’ll be performing selections from the American Songbook, which features pop favourites, as well as musical theatre classics.
The live experience is being described as intimate, making for a truly unforgettable night.
