In partnership with Westminster City Council, Discover Leicester Square are hosting an entirely free-to-attend festival of culture and creativity. Inside Out Festival will take over the square throughout the second weekend of August (9 and 10th), with all sorts of live theatre and cinema experiences on the agenda. Expect the likes of face painting, craft sessions and surprise character appearances for the little ones (think The Tiger Who Came To Tea and Horrible Histories), or wand combat sessions with Harry Potter’s Wand Choreographer for slightly older kids. On Saturday night, though, it’s all about the boogie.
Head to Leicester Square, pick up a pair of headphones, and prepare for the iconic soundtracks to start blaring. What could be better than a simultaneous musical sing-along in one of the world’s most famous city gardens? In the heart of the West End, London’s legendary theatre district, no less.
The silent disco will take place from 7pm until 8:45pm on Saturday, August 9. Tickets are totally free, but should be booked in advance here.
