Public transport in London is notoriously unreliable, it’s true – but please allow me to point you in the direction of a bus that will never let you down. Proudly parked up in Edmonton; Last Stop Kebab serves up Britain’s favourite drunken delicacy from inside a renovated London bus, making it the perfect pit(ta) stop for those late night cravings.
The kebab bus set up shop back in 2020 (*shudders at the memory*), and has been serving up a jam-packed menu of kebabs, wraps, burgers and chips ever since. Open daily from 11am-11pm; hungry Londoners can either order their food to takeout or jump onboard (no Oyster Card required) and grab a seat.
On the bottom deck, you’ll find the kitchen and the counter. Once you’ve ordered and collected your (generously portioned) food, you can then head upstairs to the top-deck-cum-dining-area. The seats are the classic Tfl moquette design and laid out exactly as you’d expect, asides from the ones that have been removed to make space for the tables.
Unfortunately, the bus can’t then whisk you home once you’ve finished, but at least you won’t have to do the journey on an empty stomach.
Last Stop Kebab is open daily from 11am – 11pm. Find out more here.
