If you always find yourself looking after the pennies and the pounds, there’s a spectacular annual scheme in London that grants kids free access to some of the best West End theatre productions. Kids Week 2025 offers free theatre tickets to under-17s for a spectacular array of shows, usually boasting around fifty productions to choose from.
Although the shows participating in this year’s iteration haven’t been announced yet, Kids Week is set to run throughout the summer holidays with tickets available to purchase on Tuesday, 10 June, for select performances from 21 July to 31 August 2025.
Kid’s Week 2025
As the longest-running initiative of its kind, Kids Week has welcomed over 2.5 million young people and their families to experience the magic of live theatre for over 25 years. This summer, children can see some of London’s best theatre shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.

What theatre shows are participating in Kid’s Week?
A whopping 54 shows are participating in Kid’s Week 2025. The full list of participating productions can be found here, but returning firm favourites include Back To The Future, Matilda, The Lion King and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. There also plenty of shows getting involved in the Kid’s Week action for the first time, including 101 Dalmations, Clueless, The Devil Wears Prada, My Neighbour Totoro, and Starlight Express.
How do I claim the free tickets for my kids?
Any child aged 17 or under can go to selected performances of any participating show for free if they’re accompanied by a full-paying adult. Adults can also buy up to two extra children’s tickets at half-price if you have got a larger family, and there are no booking fees.
