Another victory for London *flicks hair*.
If you’re living in London and want to visit the nation’s favourite park this summer then you’re in luck (if choosing the best city in the world as your home can be called luck). You won’t have to shell out any more precious cash on a staycation to see just that.

Kew Gardens has been ranked as the people’s favourite garden in a new study by Flying Flowers. Richmond’s distinguished space saw off stiff competition from the likes of RHS Wisley, Wrest Park and Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh to clinch the top spot.
Flying Flowers came to their (correct) conclusion by studying the number of monthly searches for gardens in the UK. And, it’s safe to say Kew Gardens smashed it out of the… park. They pick up a whopping 370,430 monthly searches, which is just the 289,800 more than second placed RHS Wisley’s 80,630.
The world-renowned botanical gardens are made up of over 50,000 living plants which can be discovered in a variety of environments from the famous Arboretum to the Alpine rock garden or luscious borders.
Speaking on their study, Flying Flowers said: “The UK is home to some of the worlds most beautiful gardens which are home to a mixture of designs and styles. With many of our gardens offering a huge range of flowers and plants cared for and studied by gardeners and botanists, they’re the perfect places to explore and get in touch with nature this summer.”
You haven’t got too much time left to visit Kew Gardens in actual summer this year, and as you can see that’s officially the best. But, with an array of plants and shrubbery that shifts with the seasons, you’re onto a winner all year round.
