Next month, a brand-new street food festival will set East London ablaze with the flavours of East and Southeast Asia. The acclaimed street-food obsessives over at KERB have rounded up some of the city’s best vendors to celebrate “one of the most exciting food scenes in London right now.” Flavour-obsessed foodies will want to clear their schedule for the weekend of August 8-9, to ensure they can get over to the KERB Goes East festival.
KERB Goes East will feature over 50 vendors with a huge variety of cuisines, ranging from authentic dishes to wild mash-ups and everything in between. Visitors can chow on the likes of Japanese comfort food, Singaporean curry puffs, Indonesian classics, Korean-Mexican fusion dishes, and much more.
Alongside the food will be retail stands, music, and the chance to explore East Asian craft and culture at the Urban Garden Fair.
KERB Goes East
So exactly who can you expect to see peddling their food at the street food festival? KERB has revealed a few of the highlights to look out for, with more to be announced soon.

- Oishi Don – Japanese comfort food
- Old Chang Kee – Singaporean curry puffs
- Borobudu – Indonesia flavours
- Komex – Korean and Mexican fusion food
- You Bao – fluffy bao buns
- Mandala – hand-crafted Himalayan Dumplings
- Lil’Wong Bakes – pandan-packed treats
- Can Toast – Asian bakery with a modern twist
The new food festival is part of Canada Water’s Round The Dock programme. Over six weeks, this summer, they’re bringing a mix of food, live music, and waterside experiences to the area.
