With its indulgent menus and striking interiors – particularly that signature, luminous green agate flooring – a dining experience at The Ivy Asia is unforgettable. And now, the upmarket destination restaurant has opened another branch, this time in the heart of well-heeled Mayfair.
The Ivy Asia, Mayfair, on North Audley Street, is serving up a beloved menu of Asian cuisine. Inspired by the countries that span the continent, there’s a particular focus on Japan. From the moment you step foot into the restaurant, the opulent experience begins; surrounded by luxurious Asian fabrics, twelve beautiful cherry blossom trees, and a collection of antiques, you can choose to dine by the open kitchen, sushi counter or behind the bi-fold door, which pulls back to unveil five alfresco tables. A cherry blossom walkway connects the bar and main restaurant space – making for a must snap spot, for sure.
Fans of the sister sites in London, Manchester, and Guildford will be pleased to see their favourites from the other locations making an an appearance on the menu at the Mayfair location. These join brand-new dishes created exclusively for this Mayfair outpost by Executive Chef Simon Gregory. A quick read of the menu is sure to get mouths watering and appetites raring. On offer are Kung Pao Monkfish, and Spiced Peanut Chicken with coconut, spring onion and lime, as well as many, many more delectable options.
Alongside your meal, the buzzy restaurant serves sakes, wines, champagnes and a series of theatrical cocktails. The Mayfair venue is even host to ten exclusive drinks, which combine liqueurs, sakes and spirits to create eclectic cocktails. Among them, there’s The Phoenix (tequila, Yuzushu Sake, peach liqueur, ginger and pink grapefruit soda) and Spirit of Butterfly (KiNoBi Dry Kyoto Gin, Italicus Bergamot liqueur, aloe vera, elderflower, lemon, butterfly pea tea, and grape and apricot soda).
The Ivy Asia, Mayfair is open seven days a week, and offers something for all occasions – working lunches, leisurely brunches and everything in between. Head to the website to book your table for a meal you won’t forget.
