Plans for an 160-room hotel just yards from Battersea Power Station have been revealed and the views are pretty staggering. The building has been designed by Foster + Partners and will stand just 25 metres from the Grade 2 listed Battersea Power House, in the heart of the £8 billion riverside development. The hotel, set to open in 2019, will be run by Amsterdam-based group art’otel. With sites already in Germany, Hungary and Holland, the group also has plans for a second hotel in Hoxton. No information has been released about the rooms yet, but a room in their Amsterdam hotel starts at about £170 per night. And something tells us these prices might get the London treatment…
