On Saturday December 8th, several hundred Santas will be parading around London for absolutely no reason at all.

Santacon describes itself as a “non-profit, non-political, non-religious and non-sensical Christmas parade” and er, we kinda love it. What’s not to love about dressing up in a Santa suit, running around singing Christmas carols and spreading festive cheer around the city?

Santacon is completely free to attend, but you’ll need to BYOSS (Bring Your Own Santa Suit) and register online. You’ll be sent all the info—including meeting points—ahead of the event, and then huge groups of Santas will head off on different routes to avoid Santa-related congestion. If you’re late, or if you lose the group along the way, you can track them using the Santanav (hilarious) Twitter feed.

For more info and to register for the event, head to the Santacon website.
