You might not be ready for 2020, but are you ready for the floor?
On the back of their seventh studio album release earlier this year, synth-pop artists Hot Chip will be bringing in 2020 at The Steel Yard in central London — and tickets are on sale now.
Hot Chip are known for their euphoric melodies, idiosyncratic vocalisations and pounding electronic pop rhythms, and this New Year’s Eve party is bringing all of that and more. Celebrate the end of the teenies in style with countdowns, confetti cannons, contagious rhythms and a four-hour DJ set from the Hot Chip boys, including top-class DJ Joe Goddard.
Taking place beneath two beautifully restored Victorian railway arches, the venue consists of two rooms: one for dancing the decade away, and one by the bar with a more chilled vibe; a nice respite from the main dance floor.
Early bird tickets have now sold out, but you can still grab tickets to this superb celebration — so get in there quick! If you’ve been good this year, treat yourself to the VIP experience, where you’ll get a welcome drink and access to an exclusive space with a private bar for £74.
I shouldn’t need to tell you the date, but the party will go on from 8pm to 5am on Tuesday, 31st December. It all takes place at The Steel Yard, Allhallows Lane, EC4R 3UE. Nearest stations are Monument or Cannon Street.
