August has been a pretty monumental month for the popular Chinese tea brand, HEYTEA. Not only did they open their first store outside of Asia, but they also became the new neighbours of us lovely lot at Secret London HQ. Aren’t they lucky?
Located in the heart of Soho, on the edge of London’s iconic Chinatown; HEYTEA have finally ventured over to the UK to set up shop, and they’ve been met with rave reviews and big old queues.
The pioneers of new-style tea and – wait for it – cheese tea (yes, you ready that correctly) pride themselves on igniting a sense of joy in their customers with their exquisite beverages and consistently high-quality ingredients. It all sounds pretty grate to us.
The brand-spanking new Soho store offers a wide range of teas, from refreshing fruit teas to comforting milk teas and everything in between. Classic favourites such as Very Grape tea, Roasted Brown Bobo Milk tea, and Aqua Green Jasmine Cheese tea are all available for you to get your hands on in London.
Since first opening up in a small alley in Jiangmen, Guangdong in 2012, HEYTEA have revolutionised the entire tea industry. Having established over a thousand stores worldwide since then; they are committed to promoting their ‘live joy‘ culture everywhere they go. In the future, with their dedication to providing high quality tea beverages and spreading joy alongside them, HEYTEA plan to continue exploring new opportunities and opening new stores across the globe.
I’m not sure if cheese and bubble tea is my dream combination but, I mean, they must be doing something right based on the crowds of people I’ve had to fight through, just to get to my desk each morning. Maybe it’s time we believed the hype.
