Spring is finally in the air, and with the Easter holidays fast approaching you’ll soon be on the hunt for more than just chocolate eggs — you’ll also be searching for ways to keep the little ones entertained during a mini-break in London. Well, parents, listen up – Hamleys is the top destination for family fun this Easter.
The historic toy shop has been in the business of bringing joy to children for over two centuries and this year is no different. Head over for some eggcellent Easter activities alongside their usual in-store entertainment for all age groups, kicking off in-store from March 25.
The impressive flagship store at Hamleys Regent Street spans seven floors and features toys and experiences from household favourite brands including: LEGO®, Playmobil, Pop Mart, Harry Potter, Bandai, Bunnies By The Bay, L.O.L. Surprise!, and Build-A-Bear.
Hamleys is famous for its in-store entertainment, including West End performances, and surprise guest appearances from fan-favourite characters such as Peppa Pig during special events.
Daily highlights that run all year round include meeting Hamley Bear at 1pm and 2:30pm, watching various puppet shows and catching the Hamleys Grand Parade on Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm. You can also enjoy Easter-themed versions of these with Chef Choco’s Chocolatiers Puppet show and the Rainbow Ribbon Parade from March 28 until April 12.

See Midnight in the Toyshop musical come to life
Got some music fans in the family? The cast of the mini musical, Midnight in the Toyshop, will make a special appearance at Hamleys Regent Street on March 28. Come along for an exciting live performance from Belle Ballerina and Rebel Racer.
Meet the Peppa Pig Family
If you’d love to see your little ones meet their favourite on-screen characters, the whole family from the animated series Peppa Pig will be at the Regent Street store on April 11 and 12.
Pop in for an Easter Rabbit doll making workshop
For families looking to get stuck in creatively, this is the perfect activity. Head to Hamleys Westfield on April 1 any time from 1pm – 4pm to take part in an Easter rabbit doll making activity. Kids can let their imaginations loose and make their very own Easter-themed cuddly toy to take home.
Try your hand at Easter egg cup decorating
Another creative workshop available at the Westfield store is Easter egg cup decorating on April 3 from 11am – 5pm. Perfect for the whole family, attendees can design their very own Easter egg cups using gems, stickers, and plenty of colourful decorations. It’s a great opportunity to create something unique and walk away with a lovely keepsake.
