The moon glowing just that little bit brighter every day and the goosebump-inducing chill in the air can only spell one thing; Halloween, and this year Phantom Peak has brought it to life in a big way. Tickets are on sale for those brave souls who have the guts to pay a visit to this spine-chilling soiree, if you want to count yourself among those who dared to enter be sure to grab yours now. This weekend is your last chance to visit Hallowed Peak, don’t miss out!
What can I expect to find inside Hallowed Peak?
Sequestered away inside the mountains with rolling mist and all sorts of cloaked corners, the Old Town has been shrouded in mystery and darkness, until now. JONACO has got its claws in Phantom Peak’s intriguing pocket of history and has unleashed lashings of modern-day technology on the frozen-in-time town. As you duck inside you’ll no longer just hear the muttered ramblings of a lone drinker or the ominous rumble of the smouldering Blimp, instead, the cries of competitiveness and the bashing of buttons from the jailhouse-turned-arcade and the glitching ‘Jonavisions’ in the brand new TV station will echo throughout. You might even catch the faint chorus of voices spilling from the abandoned temple of The Church Of The Cosmic Platypus if you listen closely. Just be warned, while you explore, be careful not to lose yourself in the tangled labyrinth of the Miramaze.
Of course, it’s not just Old Town that has got the Halloween treatment. Something strange has taken over the entire Phantom Peak world and you might want to come dressed for the spooky occasion as there will be a special ‘Thrilling Threads’ competition. When you arrive, dressed to the nines no doubt, you’ll encounter all sorts of curious new characters – keep an eye out for the paranormal investigators peddling their occult expertise – hear some hair-raising tales from a host of local storytellers and take in the talents of carnival acts. Be sure to pay a visit to Madam Mechanica’s for a terrifying horror experience if you’re feeling particularly gutsy.
You’ll not only be treated to a host of special Halloween delights, new gripping quests and a themed tipple on arrival, but you’ll also get to experience the stunning setting of Phantom Peak in an entirely new way. Lanterns will add an ominous glow to the steampunk-meets-Western buildings whilst, at night, the moonlight reflects off the inky black of the rippling waterway and the waterfall appears to pierce the Gilded Lake with its relentless cascade. Soak it all up over a mouthwatering meal from the food stalls then pick your poison at the bar; cocktails, beer, wine and spirits are all on offer. Be sure to grab your tickets now for a truly otherworldly adventure at Hallowed Peak this Halloween.
