This summer there’s an incredible new concert series docking at the iconic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. From July 4-8, Greenwich Summer Sounds is bringing a stellar line-up of world-class artists to this historic riverside venue. But the question is, are you ready to ride the wave?
Set against the stunning backdrop of the London skyline at sunset, each of the four headline acts at Greenwich Summer Sounds promises to be nothing short of legendary. Setting the bar sky high on its debut year, the 2023 headline acts are as follows:
- Nile Rodgers & CHIC, July 4
- Tom Jones, July 6
- Black Eyed Peas, July 7
- Kaiser Chiefs, July 8
Of course, a star-studded programme such as this wouldn’t be complete without some fantastic supporting acts. So you can enjoy an entire evening of electrifying live music with the likes of MistaJam, Scouting for Girls, Ellie Sax, DJ Spoony and The View getting the crowd warmed up.
If you’re looking to make a proper evening of it, why not get down there early and enjoy some pre-concert festivities? Greenwich Summer Sounds will open from 5.30pm, with a selection of London’s best street food stalls available to explore. There’ll also be a host of bars and innovative local brewers, serving up delicious draught and cocktails. So you can enjoy a leisurely preamble, soaking in the breathtaking Baroque architecture and the gorgeous surroundings of Maritime Greenwich.
