Graham’s Port invite you to fall in love with the cocktail of the summer.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of British tourists flock to Portugal for a summer of sunshine, food, and seaside cocktails. Sounds pretty dreamy, right? Luckily, you can save yourself the cost of a flight, because Graham’s Port are bringing Portugal to us this summer! On July 19th, they’re hosting An Evening on the Tiles, a captivating celebration of all things Porto.
Guaranteed to satisfy your passion for Porto without having to endure the airport, this event is essentially the party of the summer. Picture yourself relaxing in a lush floral venue, nibbling on canapes, and sipping the summer’s most refreshing drink: a Graham’s White Port & Tonic. Cooler than a sea breeze, and more refreshing than a dip in the Atlantic, the Graham’s P&T is bound to become your drink of choice when the sun shines.
An Evening on the Tiles will gather the best bits of Portugal at the beautiful Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings in Clerkenwell. Amongst the green (and highly Instagrammable) interiors, the Graham’s P&T gives way to a mouthwatering selection of food. Brilliant Bermondsey restaurant Londrino are in charge here, drawing on the Portuguese heritage of head chef Leandro Carreira, and you can expect delectable canapes and meat and cheese platters. And, no, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten: there’ll also be those devilishly delicious pastel de natas made by the lovely folks at Portuguese Love Affair. During the feast, you’ll be serenaded with live music, and enjoying tastings of Graham’s White and aged Tawny Ports, with UK Brand Manager Alex Down.
Meanwhile, East London curiosity shop Portuguese Love Affair will be running a pop-up crafts shop in the Greenhouse, allowing you to bring a little slice of Portugal home with you. Your Iberian adventure will be rounded off with a charming souvenir. Taking a cue from Porto’s terrifically tiled São Bento station, each guest will receive a beautiful tile coaster as a memento of the night. Hey, it’s called An Evening on the Tiles for a reason. It’ll definitely jazz up your coffee table, and make a perfect accessory for all those Graham’s P&T’s you’ll be drinking this summer! Especially because you can get Graham’s Fine White Port from Amazon for a very nice £13…
An Evening on the Tiles will cost £25, which gets you two bespoke Port cocktails, four Port tastings from the Graham’s Port range, and a host of delicious canapes. Pick up your tickets here.
