Gorillaz have been playing big shows across Europe, but they’ll play their first stadium show in London this weekend, with a gigantic show lined up. To mark the occasion, they’ve even got a list of special guest performers who will pop up during their performance, with the likes of Little Simz, Shaun Ryder, De La Soul, and Popcaan all included (but more on that below).
It will be the first London headline show by Gorillaz since the release of their ninth studio album, The Mountain, which dropped in February, so fans can look forward to hearing some of these tracks for the first time.

The last Gorillaz London show came at the Copper Box arena last year, when they played four shows, each time playing a different album in full.
When and where are Gorillaz playing in London?
Gorillaz are playing tomorrow (June 20) in the capital, taking to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their biggest headline gig in London to date.
It’s a standalone gig of sorts, with no other UK shows announced at this current moment. Damon Albarn and co. did perform a series of arena shows in March, around the release of The Mountain, but this performance in a stadium during the summer does give the occasion a separate type of feeling. And that feels even further compounded when you read the list of special guests due to appear at the show…

Which special guests are appearing at the Gorillaz Tottenham Hotspur Stadium show?
Sparks and Trueno are the official opening acts, and will perform in the traditional slots before the main event of Gorillaz.
Gorillaz, however, have just marked the week of the show by announcing an extensive list of special guests, with a simply ridiculous level of talent lined up to appear with the famous Gorillaz backdrop show looking over them on the screens.
The special guest performers are:

- Bashy
- Black Thought

- 5pm – doors open

What setlist will Gorillaz play?
It’s their first-ever stadium show, so it’s very likely they’ll mix things up, particularly given all the special guests on hand to appear at this concert.
