If you’re even passingly familiar with Gordon Ramsay (aka one of the most famous chefs in the world), you’ve likely heard of Hell’s Kitchen. ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ might be his most famous show, but coming in at a close second is the cooking competition that takes place in the titular restaurant. And very soon, Londoners will be able to dine in the acclaimed restaurant without having to cross the pond.
Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will open its doors at the Cumberland Hotel this spring. Diners can expect some of the restaurant’s and chef’s most iconic dishes, as well as brand new offerings just for London. The menu will feature everything from lobster risotto to Ramsay’s iconic Beef Wellington. There will also be a five-course tasting menu, taking diners through Gordon Ramsay’s classic dishes, as well as the venue’s new dishes for London.
The London opening has been a long time coming for Ramsay fans. The Hell’s Kitchen restaurant brand already boasts eight venues around the world, in iconic locations such as Las Vegas, Miama, Washington DC, and Ibiza. And soon, we Londoners get to enjoy it too!
Inside Hell’s Kitchen
Just like the other locations, the London Hell’s Kitchen will focus on “high-energy spectacle set around an open kitchen”. While there might not be as much swearing or shouting as in the TV show, there’s still plenty to watch and enjoy as the chefs prepare the food, just steps away from diners. And, yes, they’ll be wearing those recognisable red and blue bandanas – just like in the show.
Inside, spread across the 7500 square foot venue, there is space for over 200 diners at a time. The restaurant also features four chefs’ tables and a dedicated bar area. So, in theory, you could just come for a show and a drink!

Hell’s Kitchen’s London restaurant is just the latest new opening in a never-ending stream of new openings from Ramsay. Across the world, his sites boast an impressive 8 Michelin stars. And he’s opened everything from casual eateries to 3-Michelin-star fine dining spots.
