Every winter, there is a stand out moment where we feel we’ve been catapulted into Christmas mode. Normally it happens whilst we’re out and about enjoying one of London’s many fun, festive activities. So we’re elated to announce that after a wildly successful debut year, London’s only riverside ice rink, Jo Malone London presents: Glide at Battersea Power Station is returning on November 10.
This winter, merrymakers can skate to their heart’s content on three interconnecting ice rinks, centred around a magnificent 30ft Christmas tree. But this year there’ll be even more festive fun to enjoy on your trip to this iconic Grade II* listed London landmark.
Book your tickets to Jo Malone London presents Glide at Battersea Power Station now!
Few things could fill you with the feeling of Christmas magic more than gliding over the ice with friends and family, before the backdrop of the River Thames. But you can also marvel at these enchanting views from one of the fairground rides. Ferris wheel anyone?
In addition to the towering Christmas tree, adorned with gorgeous Jo Malone London decorations, visitors can also explore a Jo Malone London pop-up in an enchanting gingerbread house. But it isn’t just fairytale charm you’ll find inside… Get some gift-giving inspo at a fragrance masterclass and browse gifts from this year’s gingerbread-inspired collection.
Fancy a drink and a snack with a view on your wintery day out… of course you do. Luckily The Glass House, Glide’s panoramic café and bar, is the place to warm up with a range of indulgent coffees from Nespresso or something a bit stronger if you fancy it! The Glass House will have an array of live entertainment on offer including an interactive pub quiz every Tuesday with Good Time Gals. You even get a free drink with your ticket!
Once you’ve done sufficient skating and pirouetting on the ice rink, why not warm up in a private-hire igloo? From as little as £12.50 per person, you and up to eleven others can enjoy your cosy igloo for 90 minutes whilst sipping a complimentary welcome drink. And don’t worry about stepping outside to find some food – you can get hand stretched artisan pizza delivered directly to your table.
Just minutes walk from the rink you’ll find Battersea Power Station’s incredible shopping and dining offering. So if you feel like making a day of it, stop and pick out some cute Christmas prezzies at one of their independent businesses – or enjoy a delicious meal at one of their outstanding eateries.
Glide will reside at Battersea Power Station between November 10 – January 7, 2024.
