If you’re a seasoned Glastonbury attendee (or at least try to get tickets every year), you’ll be well aware that 2026 is a fallow year for the farm, meaning we’ll have to wait a little while longer till we’re back dancing at the Pyramid Stage.
If you’re still itching for some Glasto news, though, you can now start planning your annual leave for nearly two years away, as the dates for Glastonbury 2027 have just been announced, as well as a prize draw for the first set of tickets.
When is the next Glastonbury Festival?
Glastonbury 2027 will take place between Wednesday, June 23 – Sunday, June 27.
When do tickets go on sale?
Since the event isn’t until 2027, it’s likely to be around November 2026 when we are summoned to our laptops to undergo the ‘scrapping for tickets’ (virtually) process. However, Glastonbury are offering an early chance to get your hands on a pair of tickets for the 2027 event while giving to a vital cause.
The first 25 pairs of tickets to the festival are being handed out via a prize draw. To enter, you’ll need to donate to Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) UK on the prize draw page, which will go towards supporting the MSF work for those who need it in Gaza and Sudan. You’ll have the option to donate £10 (one entry), £20 (two entries), £50 (five entries), and £100 (10 entries). At the time of writing, the fund has already raised over £80,000 out of a current £100,000 goal, and there are 42 days left to enter.
Who is playing Glastonbury 2027?
Hold your horses. It’s wayyyyyy too early to start naming acts for a festival nearly two years away, even when it’s just speculation. We can pretty confidently say that it’s unlikely that The 1975, Neil Young, or Olivia Rodrigo will be headlining in 2027. Never say never, but these three acts all headlined in 2025, so we’ll go out on a limb and say that Glastonbury won’t repeat the same trick two years in a row.
