Dream job alert! Skiddle, a music event discovery platform, is looking to hire one lucky festival lover for the summer job of a lifetime. Between May and August 2022, the Festival Reporter will be sent across the UK to attend 13 of the biggest live music events — for a salary of £7,500 plus free travel and covered meals. Sounds like the perfect gig for you? Then read on and find out how to apply.
Headliners across the long list of festivals include 50 Cent, Megan Thee Stallion, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, deadmau5, Clean Bandit, Tyler, The Creator, and other notable artists in house, dance, rap, hip hop, and more.
Now, besides dancing and having an incredible time, what’s actually involved in this role? Well, not much else, actually. The job description says the perfect candidate would be someone “with a creative streak, those who have a keen eye for producing fun, exciting and engaging content and, obviously, those with an undying passion for live music”. So the only thing you need to do is capture the most special moments of your adventure, which will then be shared on Skiddle’s social platforms. And truthfully, it’s highly likely you’d be doing that anyway, right?
