Just when you thought you were out (of festival season)… it (Peckham Festival) pulls you back in! That’s right, folks – the outdoor partying isn’t over, as the middle of September brings with it a few more events to have a dance.
This offering comes in the form of Peckham Festival, which is returning to Copeland Park and various venues around the South London neighbourhood and – rather handily (especially if you went a bit wild with spending over the bank holiday weekend) – is completely free to attend!

You can expect a total variety of activities going on at Peckham Festival, with art, music, workshops and much more prepped and ready to go between September 13-15 on a weekend that’s expected to welcome in around 20,000 people. The event is completely not-for-profit, and showcases artists, musicians, and many more people across the three days in autumn each year.
Highlights this year include a takeover on the main stage today from the familiar faces at GALA festival, which means lively sets from AQWEA and Marcia Carr. Also over on the main stage across the weekend is a classical display from the Peckham Chamber Orchestra; a set from Mark-Ashley Dupé; guided meditation; Metronomes Steel Orchestra; a DJ set from Talia Darling; and much more.
In between catching all the music and checking out the art, you can also head over to Copeland Park and grab a sweet treat from vegan doughnut connoisseurs Emma And Dough or some chocolate from Pure Cacao. There are other brilliant food options including Plantain Kitchen and Jerk Pon De Corner, so head down to try some in between supporting local art and music.
Peckham Festival takes place across various venues on September 13-15. Find out more information and view the full schedule at their website.
