Get your snacks without the hassle at London’s Free From Festival.
Given that the Secret London team collects food allergies like they’re going out of style (no joke; we had four coeliacs on the team at one stage), this is pretty welcome news for our stomachs. Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery will host the Free From Festival on Saturday, September 11, providing a safe haven for us to scoff gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free treats all all day long. And isn’t that the dream?
This Saturday of worry-free snacking is helped by the sheer range of choice; street food, savoury nibbles, chocolate, and desserts are all on offer, and every product at the event is free from gluten, dairy, and refined sugar. (There are even more free from options available, too). Everything has been made with love and care by UK-based artisan producers, and that extends to the gluten-free beer, organic wine, and refined sugar-free beverages. In fact, everything here is free, except for the festival itself – you’ll need to pay £10 to get in and fill your face with these delectable fancies.
Away from the food (if you can tear yourself away, that is), the Free From Festival will also offer talks and demonstrations by nutritionists and industry experts, teaching you how to cook delicious, intolerance-dodging meals at home. Plus, there’ll be live acoustic music from up and coming artists, to lend the whole festival a nice laidback vibe. Oh, and I know Christmas is still nearly four months away, but it’s a fab opportunity to stock up on tasty treats that’ll make a nifty stock filler. Grab your tickets for Saturday here – but the festival will be keeping a limited number available for purchase on the door. Let there be snacks!
