First Aid Kit have just announced a huge London show later this year, which will see the pair take to London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, September 29.
Marking the Swedish folk duo’s only UK show of 2026, First Aid Kit will be celebrating their 2014 album, Stay Gold, with the backing of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. They’ll play the record in full on the first section of the evening, with part two of the show seeing the band playing other favourites.
Announcing the news via their Instagram page, First Aid Kit wrote: “We’re thrilled to announce that we’re playing a very special show at @royalalberthall on 29th September.
“We’ll be joined by our conductor [Erikar Vinder] and the incredible Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, performing Stay Gold in its entirety for the first half of the evening. The second half will be a mix of our favorite songs, old and new. This truly feels like a dream come true. Just thinking about this night makes us teary-eyed.
“It will be our only UK show this year, so make sure to get your tickets. We can’t wait to share this with you.”
First Aid Kit’s show at the Royal Albert Hall marks their first in the capital since 2023, when they played a show at South Facing Festival in the summer, as well as gigs in Liverpool and Edinburgh, among others.
