If you’re itching for football action, but can’t wait for the next FIFA Women’s Club World Cup™, then we’ve got just the solution. That’s because the very first FIFA Women’s Champions Cup will kick off this week – tomorrow (January 28) in fact!
The best football talent from around the globe has gathered in London, and they’re preparing to face off to find out who is the best of the best. It’ll all play out across four matches this week, as four different continental club champions vie for the top spot.
Representing The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (aka Concacaf) are champions Gotham FC from the United States. The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) will be represented by champions SC Corinthians from Brazil. From the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Champions League titlists ASFAR, from Morocco, will be taking to the pitch. And of course, flying the flag for the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is England’s own UEFA Women’s Champions League holders Arsenal Women FC.

- Final (teams tbc) – February 1, 6:00pm at Arsenal Stadium
After the match, the first-ever FIFA Women’s Champions Cup winners will be crowned. The winners will receive a pretty whopping pot for cinching the title, too. They’ll net themselves a “record-breaking prize of USD 2.3 million.”
