This winter, Westfield London (White City) and Westfield Stratford City are pulling out all the stops with their festive family activities. Prepare to experience the ultimate fairytale moment at the Westfield London Gingerbread City Exhibition, a futuristic space created by Museum of Architecture’s leading architects, engineers and designers. Inside this mouthwatering city constructed entirely of gingerbread, frosting and sweet treats, guests can partake in workshops and try making their own gingerbread creations to take home! The Gingerbread City is open December 2-15 and January 2-7, 10am-9pm Monday-Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm.

When the weather outside is frightful, movie days are in order. And at Vue Cinema, there are new ways to upgrade your visit to make your experience even more magical. So grab the popcorn and get ready to see all the latest releases on the big screen at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.

This educational, child size city for 4-14 year olds is filled with ultra realistic roleplay activities where they can discover new career passions. This year, the 65ft Christmas tree centrepiece at the Westfield London ice rink has undergone a festive makeover. Celebrating the release of the new Wonka film, A Wonka-ful Winter Experience will provide the ultimate backdrop for those Christmassy Insta pics as you skate with friends and family.

8. Visit the Pokémon pop-up
As you wander through the atrium at Westfield London, you’ll see a pop-up Pokémon display until December 4. Here Pokémon players can spin a Pokéstop to get a unique postcard, and you can capture some cute family photos. Make sure to wear your best smile, because there’ll be a competition running with great prizes available for the best ones! If you want to guarantee the Pokémon plush is under the tree for the kids on Christmas morning, you can just scan the QR code found at the pop-up and purchase one online – you’ll even get a free gift with it, until December 4.
9. Say hello to Santa in his sleigh (SOLD OUT)
It’s every child’s dream to meet Santa, and this Christmas Santa’s sleigh will be pulling up to Westfield London for a free meet and greet. Kids can send their Christmas wish on a star before meeting the man himself in his sleigh to receive a gift and capture a special photo. Tickets for the Wish Upon a Star Santa Experience are currently sold out, but walk-in slots may be available on a first come first serve basis. Additional slots may also become available on the website due to cancellations.
