You’ve tried the rest – now try the FEST.
Taking over the 200-year-old horse hospital in Camden Stables Market is FEST; a nifty hybrid Camden bar-restaurant-club offering everything from club nights to singalong parties and cabaret. Having launched in April, this joint is now firing on all cylinders – here’s what you need to know!
Let’s start with their daytime darling – this smashing little roof garden.
Underneath this lush pergola, you’ll find live acoustic music by day, and DJs by night. The bar serves up delicious cocktails (Pimm’s and Aperol Spritzes among them) and craft ales, while wood-fired pizzas are available from the outdoor pizza oven. A big screen shows major sporting events or serves as an outdoor cinema – see what’s on here. (Offer: get a pizza and a pint for £10 or two pints for £8.50.)
Head inside and things only get more intriguing, with six playfully-designed private stables you can hire out for your squad. Each one boasts a different aesthetic from a flower-filled garden party to a leather-upholstered space inspired by the House of Commons. Order, order!
Pass these by, if you can bring yourself to, to discover FEST’s awesome cabaret space, home to all kinds of marvellous shindigs in 2018.
Their shows combine food, drinks and razzle-dazzle entertainment – coming up…
??Tarantism – inspired by the cinematic world of Quentin Tarantino’s movies
?The Undead Famous Gameshow – Elvis, Marilyn Monroe and more make a surprise return to a wild world of heroes post
?Femta-Galactic – a musical voyage into outer space with cosmic effects and even some interplanetary bingo
After the festivities, check out FEST’s nightclub which is home to DJs, live music and all manner of late night parties.
You can’t go too wrong at this sweet all-day venue; worth dropping by whenever you’re in the neighbourhood. Put FEST to the test and you won’t be disappointed!
