A new, luxury hotel has just opened alongside the legendary Silverstone circuit, home of the British Grand Prix. The brand new spot, called Escapade, boasts trackside views, a rooftop Champagne bar, and access to spa treatments usually reserved for elite sportsmen. Sounds a bit alright.
Live the life of RileyLewis Hamilton in one of 184 swanky ensuite bedrooms, each decked with remarkable motorsport-inspired art and lush interiors. Escapade’s residences range from one- to four-bedroom spaces, all with open-plan living areas and private outdoor terraces for entertaining guests. Oh and they each have their own private parking with EV chargers. These places are like proper homes.
Opt for a view of the gorgeous surrounding countryside for a more peaceful escape, or get amongst the action with a view overlooking the iconic Silverstone circuit. Or there’s a hybrid option where you can get the best of both worlds.
The vibe definitely screams ‘private members’ club’, but the prices aren’t nearly as bad as I expected. Of course, if you’re going all out, you’re going to pay the price – but a standard one night stay for two appears to be cheaper than many central London hotels. (I’d still recommend a little stalk of the high-ticket items though, for the same reason we all spend our evenings browsing Rightmove and sorting by ‘Highest Price’ – looking at things we can’t afford is a special kind of torture).
On site you’ll find an exclusive, track-facing gym with a swimming pool and sauna, and a restaurant serving up a lovely, seasonal menu made with locally sourced ingredients. Upstairs, there’s a Veuve Cliquot roof deck – a dreamy spot on a sunny day… I’d imagine.
Rooms start from £118* and you can book your stay over on the hotel’s website.
*I found one for this price at the time of writing, don’t @ me.
