Now this is the kind of Enchanted Garden we like: the boozy kind.
Despite the wind and the rain, summer is reportedly coming. Happily, it’s come a little sooner to the South Place Hotel, as they’ve opened a beautiful Enchanted Garden. In transforming their bar with trails of blossoms and blooms, the hotel has brought a breath of floral air to these still-wintery times, and made it insanely Instagrammable to boot.
The Enchanted Garden is a partnership with Martin Miller’s Gin, so the floral display is inspired by botanical ingredients. Scents of orange blossom fill the air, and you can even garnish your cocktails with ingredients picked from the bar’s living wall. Gin-based cocktails are flavoured with notes of juniper, nutmeg, and basil, all to bring spring that little bit closer.
The hotel is planning some special events, too – like a Mother’s Day screening of Mamma Mia, complete with candles and cocktails, with further events to come the closer we get to summer.
Sounds like the Enchanted Garden (with a healthy assist from gin) is about to put a spring in your step!
