Now this is the kind of Enchanted Garden we like: the boozy kind.
Despite the snow and then the rain and now the wind, spring is reportedly coming. Happily, it’s come a little sooner to the South Place Hotel, as they’ll open a beautiful Enchanted Garden on February 11th. In transforming their bar with trails of blossoms and blooms, the hotel is bring a breath of floral air to these still-wintery times, and making it insanely Instagrammable to boot.
The Enchanted Garden is a partnership with Martin Miller’s Gin, so the floral display is inspired by botanical ingredients. Scents of orange blossom fill the air, and you can even garnish your cocktails with ingredients picked from the bar’s living wall. Gin-based cocktails will be flavoured with notes of juniper, nutmeg, and basil, all to bring spring that little bit closer.
The hotel is planning some special events, too – with Valentine’s Day around the corner, the Enchanted Garden will employ magician Jake Banfield to make a little magic. Meanwhile, they’ll hold a Mother’s Day screening of Mamma Mia, complete with candles and cocktails, with further events to come the closer we get to summer.
Sounds like the Enchanted Garden (with a healthy assist from gin) is about to put a spring in your step!
