Any keen adventurers among you are likely to already be familiar with Arc’teryx and their innovative outerwear. From insulated jackets to base layers, they’ve got all the essentials to prepare you for winter in London and beyond! But Arc’teryx aren’t just here to supply you with the gear, they’re here to help you embrace winter to the fullest – through inspiring films, winter sports workshops and more!
Earlier this week, as part of their winter community initiatives, the Arc’teryx Winter Film Tour was hosted at the BFI IMAX. The event showcased a series of award-winning ski and snowboard films that spotlight remarkable journeys into the mountains. Many celebrated European athletes were in attendance, including Severin van der Meer, Craig Murray, Edgar Cheylus, Silvia Moser and Loic Isliker. The event was a huge success, and sold out in just one day!
All ticket revenues were donated to United We Climb, an organisation that helps to widen access to experiences and opportunities in climbing and the outdoors. You can browse more Winter Film Tour European dates here.
Stay up to date with future London events via the Arc’teryx Instagram or on their Community Events page.
If the incredible stories told at the Winter Film Tour have inspired you to find adventure this winter, make sure you’re equipped with all the essential Arc’teryx outdoor apparel. You can shop online or try on their collection IRL at one of their stores. Visit Arc’teryx at Piccadilly, Battersea Power Station or Covent Garden to find the perfect outerwear for you.
You can also keep your Arc’teryx gear in tip top shape, by using ReBIRD™ Service Centre, exclusively at the Covent Garden store. As part of their commitment to sustainability, Arc’teryx aims to preserve what they make, increasing product lifespan by upcycling and refurbishing.
Now you’re all set with Arc’teryx winter apparel, it’s time to seek out your next adventure. And, if you’re a keen winter sports person, the Arc’teryx Freeride academy could be just the thing for you. Taking place on February 6-9, 2025 in the stunning mountains in St Anton, attendees will be invited to advance their ski and snowboard skills with help from world-class mountain guides and professional athletes, including those who came to the London BFI IMAX screening! Workshops are available for different levels, from beginner to advanced, and tickets are on sale now.
The Arc’teryx Freeride academy is an incredible experience, but even if a winter sports trip isn’t on the cards this year, don’t forget that you can take part in loads of inner city adventures.
