Given the vast success of the ABBA Voyage shows in London, it was only a matter of time before another giant artist was given the hologram treatment. This time, however, it’s one that’s no longer with us.
An Elvis Presley hologram will be rock ‘n’ rolling its way into London in May as part of an “immersive concert experience”, combining cutting-edge tech and mind-blowing mulitmedia to create projections of the beloved star of rock and roll. These will be made up from his personal photos and home videos to create a hologram in celebration of his life and musical legacy.
Named “Elvis Evolution”, the immersive experience is arriving in the capital, courtesy of Layered Reality (the UK’s leading immersive specialists). Visitors to the walkthrough experience can expect to find three themed bars, including a 1960s diner, a Tiki bar, and an ‘All Shook Up’ after party bar.
“Elvis Evolution is a next-generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley,” said Andrew McGuinness, chief executive of Layered Reality when speaking about the deal. “It’ll be a memory-making experience that will be a bucket-list item for Elvis fans and admirers around the world; people can step into the world of Elvis, walk in his shoes and celebrate his extraordinary musical legacy.”
Elvis Evolution will be taking place at Immerse LDN, Excel Waterfront in May. Find out more and plan your visit here.
