When you’re looking for a setting for a dance among a sea of colour, you can’t look further than Elrow. The globally-renowned phenomenon that began in Spain takes the party all around the world, with confetti, inflatables, and more set along to the vibrant dance music.
We’re now a matter of weeks away from their giant Elrow Town Festival event in London, and if you’re feeling impatient, you can get yourself down to a free pop-up at Boxpark Shoreditch this weekend, which just so happens to be their most intimate affair in London yet.
Between 11am – 5pm this Saturday (June 10), Boxpark Shoreditch are playing host the smallest London Elrow Show—usually known for putting on shows in grandiose spaces, like at their festival later in the summer—yet, and it’s entirely free to attend (and even has a top-secret headliner).
Acting as a sign of what’s to come later in festival season, the Elrow pop-up will take the most immersive aspects of and distill them into a more intimate setting, under the intriguing theme of ‘Enchanted Forest’.
With the secret act (who can’t be revealed but are a duo that have become a household name in the world of… house) due to hit the stage at midday, you can rave to basslines and confetti with Elrow before you’ve even tucked into your lunch
Boundaries with the artists and audience will be blurred, and guests can expect to step into a pop-up that tells a story through dazzling lights and a flurry of colourful objects flying from the ceiling.
The Elrow pop-up takes place this Saturday, June 10 at Boxpark Shoreditch (2-10 Bethnal Green Road, E1 6GY) between 11am – 5pm, and is completely free to enter.
