This lovely little courtyard is the perfect place to wine and unwind.
Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards is hidden away just a short walk from Victoria station. Inside, away from the hustle and bustle, you’ll find a whole bunch of independent businesses, from wine bars to yoga classes, and everything in between.
Summer at Eccleston Yards
This summer, Eccleston Yards are hosting a series of wholesome events, including outdoor yoga, croquet competitions and free Wimbledon screenings.
Wild by Tart have launched a pop-up bar and kitchen especially for the summer, opening from 12pm daily and serving up Pimm’s and strawberries & cream.
For some serious chill time, take part in a summer yoga session, which take place outside in the courtyard. Alternatively, if you’re after something a bit more competitive, gather your mates and play a game of croquet throughout August.
For more information on these events, head to the Eccleston Yards website.
Food and drink at Eccleston Yards
Wine lovers will be happy in the company of Bâtonnage, Eccleston Yards’ independent wine bar and shop. The place is full of character, making it the perfect place to catch up with your mates over a bottle.
A little further down you’ll find Wild by Tart’s bricks and mortar site, a neighbourhood restaurant and deli serving up excellent coffee, fresh breakfasts and delicious lunch options. The space is also available to hire as an events space or photography studio.
Last but not least, you’ll also find the wonderful Jones Family Kitchen nestled within the courtyard. You can’t miss it for its swanky summer terrace – the perfect setting to enjoy a steak in the sunshine!
Shops at Eccleston Yards
Sticking to the ‘independent businesses’ theme, the shops inside the Yards are not your usual high street stores. Take Tailor Made for example: they’re the only tailors in the UK to offer 3D body scanning, which means they can take precise body measurements and create a bespoke garment in under 6 weeks. Elsewhere you’ll find Duke + Dexter, a British born footwear label, and 50m, a concept store dedicated to supporting and showcasing emerging designers.
Fitness and wellbeing at Eccleston Yards
This gorgeous space is the perfect hideout for health and wellness fiends. Besides their summer yoga sessions, you’ll also find Barry’s Bootcamp and Hotpod Yoga within the square, as well as Re:Mind, London’s first ever meditation studio, and SMUK, a contemporary beauty parlour offering various treatments and lifestyle services.
Art at Eccleston Yards
This lovely little courtyard is also home to the iconic Frida Kahlo artwork that you’ve probably seen all over Instagram. This colourful street art was created by the incredible London-based artist, ZABOU. Check her out here.
