Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5 The Musical’ is hitting London’s Savoy Theatre.

Based on the 1980s film written by Patricia Resnick and directed by Jeff Calhoun, 9 to 5 The Musical will be in London for a strictly limited season – from January 28 to August 31 2019. The show tells the story of three colleagues who are totally fed up with their sexist and egotistical boss. They conjure a plan to turn it all around and get their revenge, but will they be successful? With all music and lyrics by the legendary Dolly Parton, this hilarious West End production is definitely a must-see. Starring Louise Redknapp as ‘Violet Newstead’, Amber Davies as ‘Judy Bernly’, Natalie McQueen as ‘Doralee Rhodes’ and Brian Conley as ‘Franklin Hart’, the cast has a shining background of West End and TV performances. Amber Davies was the winner of last year’s reality TV show, Love Island, while Louise Redknapp has a wildly successful music career and also reached the final of Strictly Come Dancing in 2016. Natalie McQueen currently appears in the West End as ‘Lauren’ in Kinky Boots, and Brian Conley has a number of ITV shows and has starred in various productions, including many leading roles in the likes of Hairspray, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Oliver!
