The Berkeley is bringing the Amalfi coast to Belgravia with its gorgeous summer pop-up.
Appropriately called ‘La Dolce Vita’, The Berkeley’s summer rooftop will be lined with lemon trees and citrus yellow sun beds. I don’t know about you, but we foresee some serious Instaspam.
The hotel’s beautiful, secluded roof garden will be the ideal place for sun seekers come June 1. There’ll be loads of spots for sunbathing; a pool for swimming in; a sauna for sweating in; and plenty of cocktails to go round.

There’ll be a classic Italian menu featuring the likes of fritto misto, tricolore salad, pizzetta and arancini. And you can also expect loads of refreshing gelato, some lovely limoncello sorbet, as well as homemade Sicilian lemonade. Not to mention the abundance of Bellinis, Negronis and Aperol Spritzes!
If you’re feeling extra boujee, you can book in for an indulgent Dolce Vita spa treatment. Your feet will be soaked with lemon salts and your face will be cleansed, toned and revived with a hydrating mask. Your body will also be exfoliated and gently nourished with lemon and rosemary oil from head to toe. In other words, you’ll be switched to complete relaxation mode.
It’s not exactly cheap—but neither is any spa day, and not all spa days come with an Aperol Spritz. There are two package options: four hour access to La Dolce Vita (the rooftop garden and pool, sauna and steam room) including a glass of Aperol Spritz for £75 per person; or four hour access to La Dolce Vita (the rooftop garden and pool, sauna and steam room), a glass of Aperol Spritz and an indulgent La Dolce Vita spa treatment for £195 per person.
