Come the summer time (when the weather is actually fine), few drinks quite hit like an ice-cold cocktail. And for us on the Secret London team, that often means we’re reaching for a spicy margarita when the weather warms up. But, much to our respective chagrins, the spice levels across London’s spicy margs vary hugely; some are mouth-scorching-ly hot, while others lack spice entirely. Fortunately, 108 Brasserie is coming to the rescue with a customisable spicy margarita menu that puts the spice level in your hands.
Whether you’re turning up the heat or simply dipping your toes into the spicy, tequila-y waters for the first time, 108 Brasserie has you sorted. The customisable menu makes the drink more approachable for first-timers, who might be scared of the spice. But it also allows spice heads to dial up their drink to the max.
Customisable spicy margaritas
When you visit 108 Brasserie, the special margarita menu allows you to ensure the margarita has just the right spice level. Your choice allows you to amp up the venue’s classic margarita with a chilli pepper of your choice. You can keep it flavoursome and mild with a Jalapeno margarita, or you can go all out with the super hot Ghost Pepper margarita. There is also a medium option in the form of a Cayenne Pepper margarita, or a Habanero margarita for a hot drink that doesn’t quite burn like the Ghost Pepper version.

Not sure which one to opt for? You can leave it up to chance with the interactive spicy spinning wheel. Just be warned – you might end up with the spiciest drink at your table, or even in the room!
And what if you can’t choose because you want to try them all? Well, you can thanks to 108 Brasserie’s Spicy Margarita Flight. This allows diners to try out all of the spice levels, each matched perfectly with a unique flavour profile. If you order the Spicy Margarita Flight, you will receive:
- The Green Margarita (Olmeca Altos Tequila, Cointreau, pineapple, lime, cucumber, basil, and
jalapeno) - The Passion Margarita (Olmeca Altos Tequila, Cointreau, lime, passion fruit, lemon grass, and habanero)
- The Diablo Margarita (Ojo De Dios Mezcal, Cointreau, lime, agave, basil, and ghost pepper)
- The Clean Margarita (a low-alcohol version with Clean Co Tequila, lime juice, agave, mint leaves, and cayenne)
The customisable spicy margarita menu will be available at 108 Brasserie from August 1, 2025.
