Hawker House is hosting a day festival called Curry Curry Bang Bang and we are so here for it.
This week (October 7-13) is UK Curry Week, and it’s pretty damn important. To celebrate, some of London’s best south Asian restaurants are coming together for a big ol’ party. (Featured image: @lahpet)

Taking place on Thursday October 10 at Hawker House in Canada Water, Curry Curry Bang Bang poses a fantastic opportunity to try dishes from some of the city’s leading restaurants and street food traders. London favourite Dishoom will be making an appearance, alongside Lahpet with its beautiful Burmese curries, Sparrow showing off Sri Lankan flavours, and Hawker House residents Raastawala and Yum Bun. The latter two will be ditching their usual offerings—kati rolls and bao buns respectively—and creating their own unique curry dishes.

Guests can try samples from each trader before washing them all down with craft beer and cocktails from any of Hawker House’s six bars.
Tickets to Curry Curry Bang Bang cost £10 and include a Kingfisher beer on arrival. Things will kick off at 5pm and end at midnight. What’s that? Did someone day THIRSTY THURSDAY?!
