“One more pair won’t hurt, right?” said every sneaker lover, ever. Well, whether it’s one, or two, or three more pairs you’re after, the best spot to get ’em is undoubtedly Crepe City. The huge sneaker festival will be taking over Boxpark Wembley once again this Sunday, November 6, returning with more than 100 trainer traders, panels and competitions to showcase some of the rarest and most in-demand trainers from around the world. While standard tickets have now sold out, the last few afternoon tickets are still available – snap them up now, so you can be there this weekend.
Crepe City sold out the last two times they popped up in London, and we’re not too surprised: live DJs will pump music throughout the venue, providing an upbeat soundtrack to the event, plus there’s a bar and a plethora of satisfying street food to fuel you up as you scour the stalls for your next set of crepes. The event is on track to sell out this time around too, so don’t miss out.
What can you expect at Crepe City?
Crepe City has popped up in various cities around the UK and Europe since its conception right here in London back in 2009. Thirteen years ago, it was a humble event where those who love trainers could meet up, socialise and trade rare pairs; now, it is the largest pop-up sneaker shop and lifestyle festival on the continent, boasting thousands of hard-to-find trainers available for purchase. This time around, you could be in with the chance of winning one of the Footlocker competitions – maybe this is the optimum time to wear your lucky socks?
Once you’ve made your purchases, or in between browsing, be sure to check out some of the panel discussions on the day. They’ll feature some well-known faces in the industry, and provide valuable insights to upcoming trends. The whole event runs between 11am and 8pm.
